Women In Politics, Women In Science

Throughout the world, it has been shown that there has been a relatively huge increase in the participation of women in the world of science. Women are taking much interest in the field of science compared to other fields. Medical Science had been given much importance by these women and shows that they’re more interested in this field. As early as 17th century, only a few would take an interest in Medical Science and there have been records of it. However, nowadays, there had been an increase in the ratio of women participating in the world of Medicine.

In the past, women are obliged to stay at home and do all the household chores while men do all the working and providing something for their family. Men are in charge of the hard work while women are in charge of taking care of their family. Men are the ones capable of decision making and are regarded as leaders while women are regarded as followers. However, things have already changed. Nowadays, we can already find women managing their own business and we can even find politicians who are women. There is an evidence of a remarkable increase in the number of women in the world of politics. Who said that women can’t do it?

With the situation our world is facing today, female students came into realization that we definitely need change. Most countries today such as in Europe and Asia, there is an increase in the number of female students. Most of these students study in the different fields such as science, medicine, business management and even engineering with the hope of finding a successful career afterwards. Not only do the majority of female students take up these courses, there are also a vast number of female students that shows interest in politics. With the aim of making a difference, female students really are taking the lead.

The word ‘gender equality’ has finally got its true meaning in the world of politics these days. Earlier where we saw men running their parties and their countries, we now witness a remarkable growth in the number of women in politics throughout the world. In India we have an almost equal number of women chief ministers as men chief ministers. It is good to see women in politics.

Nowadays it is hardly heard that women in Indian politics are under presented or underestimated. And this may be because the reason that the government has passed a law for one-third reservation in the legislative bodies for women like the Parliament of India and some important steps are being taken to make reservations in the villages as well.
